Nyaytech ("we", "us") provides practice management software for law firms and advocates in India. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and product, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of nyaytech.com and to firms and users of the Nyaytech platform.
We collect information in three broad categories:
We use collected information to operate and improve the platform, respond to demo and support requests, send product and billing communications, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not use matter, document, or client data entered into the platform to train third-party AI models without your firm's explicit consent.
We understand that matter data may be privileged or otherwise confidential. Nyaytech staff do not access the content of your firm's matters, documents, or client records except where necessary to provide support you've requested, to investigate a security issue, or where required by law — and access is logged. See our Security page for more on how this is enforced technically.
We do not sell personal or firm data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the platform (such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and payment processing), bound by confidentiality obligations, or where required by law or a valid legal process. A current list of service providers with access to Firm Data is available on request to contact@nyaytech.com.
Firm and matter data is hosted on servers located in India. Where a service provider processes data outside India (for example, for email delivery), we limit this to providers with adequate safeguards and only for the specific purpose described above.
We retain firm and matter data for as long as your account is active. After termination, data remains available for export for 30 days, after which it is deleted, unless a longer period is required by law or a shorter period is requested by your firm.
If a data breach affects your firm's data, we will notify your firm without undue delay and in any case within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, describing the nature of the breach and the steps being taken in response, and will notify the Data Protection Board of India where required.
Where we rely on your consent to process personal information — for example, to send marketing communications or to use Firm Data to train AI models — we will ask for it explicitly and separately from these terms. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at the address below; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by writing to us at the address below. Requests relating to matter or client data entered by a firm should be directed to that firm in the first instance, as they control that data.
If you have a complaint about how we handle personal information, write to our Grievance Officer at contact@nyaytech.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 7 days and resolve them within 30 days.
Our website uses minimal first-party cookies necessary for the site to function and basic aggregate analytics cookies to understand usage. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some site functionality may not work as intended.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email or through the product.
